|
|
From what I have seen so far, each of the styles that support the ability to play a Video clip support only one video clip.
I would like a style that allows me to show different video clips at different times that would be intermingled with photos. My son is getting married in a few months and in addition to showing the pictures of him as he was growing up, I want to show various video clips.
If I download the SDK - would it allow me to develop such a style? The SDK literature says the SDK is loyalty free - I assume it was supposed to mean Royalty free!
>>>>What Is the Licensing Policy?
The 3D-Album SDK is free to use. The SDK is supplied AS IS and comes with no support and warranty from either Micro Research II or Visviva Software, Inc. However, support and training service can be obtained through case by case contract. You may distribute and sell your styles loyalty free. For styles you developed, you are fully responsible for the support and all consequences that users may encounter. <<<<<<<
Thanks,
Walt |

Walter,
I suggest purchasing a video editing program to mix multiple video clips with your 3D Album stylized photos. Using an editor, you can combine still photos, text, audio, narration, video and more, with ease. If you use some of the 3D Time styles (most of which include video integration), you can combine these using the 3D Album mixer. Visit the 3D Time demo page to review the stylized photo/video samples. You may find something you like. The new "Pan and Zoom" and "Dispatch" styles are very good. They also give you improved control during the build process of your album. _________________ Michael Young

Walter,
Your video posted in the gallery has shown your extensive acquaintance and skill in using multiple 3D-Album styles to create a great presentation.
In our coming style, you will be able to create any number of image, movie, or animation gif objects, and define your walking path through these objects, as well as a timeline for their animation. The new style will be a little bit more challenging than "Pan and Zoom" and "Dispatch" styles.
Regards,
James

Thank you James. I am looking forward to the new styles.
Are you planning on being able to support the new MPEG4 video format? My new digital camera records in that format (I am not that crazy about the resolution (640x480) - my Mini DV Camcorder is so much better.
Pinnacle 9 cannot process them (MPEG4), so I have to feed them through the ULead program that came with the camera. |

I have been encoding using the XVID avi file, faster processing time, far faster than mpeg4, and 3d album can run them.
I did test the 3.29 upgrade, and what a failure that was. The video was so choppy it was similar to the errors DIVX com made.
An external video editor might not be a bad idea, as that way you could edit the highlights and remove the quirky bits, i can't personally for seeing 3D album introducing a high end video editor to do this, but it would look far nicer as one streaming video presentation than for others to have to manually change to the next video ! |

As far as the choppy problem you described, do you mean the MPEG4 played in 3D-Album (as input), or the MPEG4 output from the 3D-Album (capture) that was palyed in other player? I tested both and did not find any problem. I used the 3.29 just posted on last Saturday.
My defualt MP4 player is set to QuickTime. |
