hi
I have several 3D albums already created in a single folder (in my documents). I used Mix Path input to choose the folder. I selected a mixer style (album browser#1). The display window is not giving me a preview. Moreover at the right of the display window there is no album list. I have wasted 2 days. so i humbly request you to help me.
thanks |

Use your windows explorer (not 3D-Album) to check the folder that is in the Mixer path. See if the album folders that you built are really there. My thought is that you actually built them somewhere else (by accident), and that is why the mixer can't find them.
If they are not there, then check your BUILD dialog box to see where it is placing the built files and folders.
If they are there, then double click on each of them and post the files and folders that you find in each here. _________________ Bill

Hi
sir
I tried that as well, it didn't work. Now the folder is on the desktop. Name of the folder containing 3D album -1,2,3,4and 5 is, X1 .The mix path input is showing the right folder ( C:\Documents and Settings\JOMY\Desktop\X1 ) so i am happy with that. But if the selected folder in step1contain any album you should see the list at the right frame. But, in my case, there is no list at the right frame.
So i am in need of your help once again
thanking you

It sounds like 3D-Album doesn't know those albums exist, even though they're really there. Maybe you renamed them after BUILDING them, or maybe you changed PCs or reinstalled or ...
If you renamed your album folders, then it may be as simple as changing the individual album folder names back again to match the album exe and vexe files found inside the folder. Exit 3D-Album and try changing the name of one of them to start with. Then restart 3D-Album and go to the MIXER and see if that album now shows up. If it does, then you can rename the other folders as needed too. If you renamed them in order to have them display in a different order, then once they all show up simply click and drag the individual albums to different positions (the list on the right side where the albums are listed).
If the names are OK, then you might want to check out this posting and see if it helps point you in the right direction. http://www.3d-album.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2860. VISTA users may need a slightly different path for the files needing changing which Nan has identified in some of her postings.
If neither of the above help, try sending an email to support@3d-album.com. _________________ Bill
