Here is a preview of our new release: 3D Photo Mosaic:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1XoeL-wBa44

This package contains 12 photo mosaic templates. Please pay special attention to the video overlay - you can use a video as an overlay on the top of a photo in our new template. In addtion to photo overlay (which is bound to photo), you can add up to 4 layers of animation overlays for the entire scene and one title overlay.

My question is about element control options.

For Example:

Can I control the shadow element by hardening or softening of the shadows?
Can the other elements, such as flowers or other clutter elements can be avoided?
Can you alter the speed within a particular mosaic zoom out effect?

I know that I can control the speed within my editing software, however I noticed sometime by playing with the slow motion or adjusting speed of a particular movie file, will effect the quality of the playback.

The intensity of the shadow is controlled by the "Opacity" of the shadow plane, however soft edge option works only for rectangular images.

Other elements such as flowers and floating elements are not included in the original templates. They are added as overlays from our animation library. Background is also an optional element and you have to add it from the animation library. Animation elements used in the demo are from the animation library in our 3DT Compose and 3DT Presentation package.

The speed and interval of a particular mosaic zoom in or out effect can be controlled individually in the timeline.

We will release the package by the end of this week.

For information how to add a photo-in-text zooming effect, see

Styles contained in our PhotoMosaic package are ready-to-use templates. Like our other ready-to-use templates (e.g. Pan & Zoom, Dispatch, Montage), you simply provide your photos and the template will do the rest.

However, "ready-to-use" does not mean "less power". Our new templates are more flexible than our previous templates:

1. You can select background animation from our animation library provided in our Compose and Present package. We will provide theme-oriented dynamic backgrounds in our future content release

2. You can include up to 4 animation layers from animation library.

3. You can add photo overlay animation from animation library.

4. You can choose different styles of photo title text from our animation library. We will provide theme-oriented text animation (lower thirds, etc) in our future content release.
