All large weddings we now shoot are using 2 or 3 identical cameras and we use one camera on a jib boom for the receptions to get smooth motion and elevated tracking shots.
I particularly favor of the camera on a boom arm because of its stability shots and much less running around with the camera, but the stability is most important. We will do whatever it takes to avoid the uncle Charley videos. |
