If sound tracks do not show in the timeline, check the following:
1. If your sound (music) files are located in "My Documents" and have a version lower than 3.10. This is the old bug. You can either download the recent patch from:
For Picture Pro Platinum, go:
http://www.3d-album.com/picturesuitepatch.html
For Commercial Suite, go:
http://www.3d-album.com/cs31upgrade.html
or, you can simply move the music files to a different location.
2. You have a music player from the third party installed in your computer, which does not work fully compatible with Windows Media Application. To be specific, the "GetDuration" function is not implemented or implemented wrong. As result, 3D-Album cannot retrieve the length of the music file. The case so far we heard is the "JukeBox" player. You can either uninstall the third party's music player and restore to Windows default one, or use a different music format that is not handled by the third party's music player. For example, you can use the WMA file if you have JukeBox player installed. |
