Stevu123,

The music is static. It appears as a "Yellow" color on the timeline. It does not move seperately from the phototrack. When you press the green > play button, the whole track moves while the music plays. As it moves, the position of the passing seconds tick past.

What else are you expecting to happen? I will try to help you if you will give me a bit more detail.

stevu123,

What is the format of your music file? You may have some non-standard mp3s or wave files in which the duration of the music cannot be retrieved. This will cause the sound bar not shown in the sound track. Try to use any sound editor (if you use XP, you may try Windows standard Sound Record utility) to re-save your music file.

I think it would be very useful to show the waveforms in the audio track.

I think he is referring to a squiggly line like the ones that show up in sound editors. They serve a purpose when one is mixing, editing sound files but I don't think the average 3D Album user would find them particularly helpful.

What is the source of your music? Are you trying to copy direct from a cd or do you have music files on your hard drive?

Also,

Can you see the sound file you are trying to use in your directory? If so, what type of files are they? (the extension will tell). Some audio formats cannot be used - some are downloaded, copy protected and cannot be transferred to another computer. Please give us more detail.

Or, is it you just cannot figure out how to add sound?
