How in the world can I get to the screen where I can choose to make a standalone application, a screensaver, etc? I have built a project, made it into a standalone program and now I want to make it a screensaver. How can I get back to that screen? I have the CS version. Thanks for your help.

Also, How can I merge different shows together into one build? Thanks.

You can't get back to the BUILD dialog once you've done the intial build. You can use MY ALBUM to go back in and make changes. The changes are applied dynamically (or real time), which is my way of saying that you don't do a BUILD again, but the changes will be made. So, you can't use the program to change a stand alone executabile to a screen saver or to a web page. You can use the MY ALBUM to check the different settings so that you can start a 2nd album using the same pictures, styles, settings, etc. and then do the BUILD again - this time to a screensaver. If you're willing to experiment, you might be able to convert a stand alone album to a screensaver. I haven't done that, but I have converted a stand alone album to a HTML page and vice versa.

To combine two or more shows, you use the MIXER. The shows to be combined must be in the same parent folder.

I experimented a little, just to see if I could convert a stand alone album to a screensaver. Here's what I did:

1. I created a new album, and did a BUILD to make it into a screensaver. This gave me the dialog message telling me where the screensaver had been installed, plus it did everything to set up the screensaver infrastructure (big word, huh).

2. I then went and copied the parent folder where a stand alone album had been BUILT. This copied all of the folders and files.

3. I pasted this parent folder into the same directory containing the parent folder for the BUILD I had done in step 1 above.

4. I then did a preview, and changed settings to show the "imported" album screensaver. It worked fine.

I didn't try to figure out how to create a stand alone screensaver, etc. I just wanted to see if the basic process was doable or not.

THanks for the information. I will give it a try this afternoon. I wish that you could simply rebuild (what I really mean is "save as" but the program is not set up that way), so you don't have to "make changes" when you don't want to change anything to get back to the screen where you can choose the output format.

Thanks again.

I agree with you. A "save as" or even a "save" your project would be great.
