The new styles from 3DTime are more difficult to use, but I have enjoyed playing around with them. The animation part, moving the camera through the space though, is something I'm going to have to work on. I have to figure out the key frames. I think it's something like the key frames in flash, perhaps twaining, but I haven't figured out how to record the camera from the direction I want, at the exact keyframe. When I go back and look at the preview, it is usually backwards from the direction that I started. I've been working with the tutorial images, and I've gotten throught the first part pretty well, but I get hung up around the 14th step. I'll keep working on it, but love the 3D effects, the ability to put images on a plane at different points, and I also love the ability to use gifs. It would be pretty easy to make a style with a bus overlay and then animated wheels rotating, so it would look like the bus is moving. I am anxious to see what people come up so that I can get some more ideas. Here is a very simple attempt using pngs and overlay from Video Studio. I only panned the camera. YouTubeIt compresses the video even more than I did so I think it looks better at the smallest size rather than the default size (the first of 3 buttons on the right under the video).

That worked!
Very nice. Has a great appeal for children. Nice use of some of the new style features. I look forward to seeing more of your work with this improved flexiblilty. _________________ Michael Young

I think it looked really great! I've been playing a little with the new style, and was able to duplicate the tutorial, but haven't tried anything of my own yet.
I'm thinking the new style could be used to do things like house for sale walkthrough. It's kind of fun to run the camera around, and to look at things from the backside, etc.
BTW - I not only liked the video and what you did with the style, but I also liked the graphics that you used. _________________ Bill

Hello Everyone,
How are you playing with the new style? I don't see where it's available to us yet? Thanks - Sandy |

| Thank you, Michael. I've been looking for it everyday for almost 2 weeks now on the 3D What's New page. Didn't think to look on 3D Time. Thanks - Sandy |

Do you mean the overlay? The square on the left side that looks like a photograph? It came with the ULEAD program as a menu overlay, but I used it as a video overlay. I'm not sure which program it came with, probably Video Studio, but I also have the DVD Workshop too, and I combine files of both. I skewed the picture of the ark into that photo & added rain filter.
