I was so excited when I found this program, I thought it was going to be easy, but boy was I wrong.
I have read and read about making a dvd, and I think I've done everything I've read.
But some how I just don't get it.
Could someone please help me. Walk me through it step by step.

Help! please

Trudy, l'll assume you have already built your photo show and have captured the build in the format for DVD.(mpg, avi PAL or NTSC). If not then l suggest you do a search here, as l did many months ago and read read read all you can on making your build into a DVD file. If all you need to know is what to do after you have made your movie file then you need to put your mpg or avi file into a 3rd party DVD authoring suite (l use nero 6.6) whatever you feel good with.(l know Nero works) The file that you are left with after the capture needs to be further processed into a working DVD file that DVD players can understand. (l hope this does not sound too simple)

Hi Simon

I done everything, the build, the capture, I'm really confused at this point. What do I do now. When I use nero it ask me to add my files. When I click on my files nothing happens.
I don't understand what I'm doing wrong.

Hi Trudy, When you say nothing happens, do you get any error message, usually nero will display an error if wrong file type or file corruption. Can you walk through exactly what you are doing, ie, when you pick the file from the add dialogue box is your file even visible because that will mean that it's not supported, if you can't see your file select all file types from the dialogue box and then see if it's there, then double click it to import it. If that won't work go back to 3D Album and create an AVI file (larger file but at least we will see if that will import. Then do the same as above except import the AVI file Nero will recognise the file and all should be well.

Hope this helps.

Trudy,

Have you read How to Burn/Create DVD: http://www.3d-album.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=549 yet? This is a step by step tutorial on creating a DVD. (Well, mostly step by step, with a lot of bunny trails thrown in for good measure).

You mention "files", but when you want to create a DVD you only use the one file that was created by the CREATE step. The rest of the files (created during the BUILD steps) aren't used by NERO.
