New to 3d-Album. Well, my problem seems simple, but still...very strange. I could made a VCD, it did work well, I'm glad. But, I CAN NOT PRINT ANYTHING FROM THE 3d-ALBUM. Nor pictures, pages setup from the Layout page, or even simply a topic from the help menu. Yes, my printing is working fine, I can print from other programs like MIcrosoft Word, Imaging, Paint, etc. That's what happens: I click the print button on the 3d-Album page, the regular window for printing opens, I click OKAY, the cursor goes till 10% and desapears, nothing happens after. Does anybody has a clue? Thank you very much for your attention!

Check in the printing dialog's printer droplist and see if it is the printer that is currently in use.

[b]Thank you for your answer, but yes, I have the right printer in use in the printing dialogue drop list. Hope to receive other ideas, the Layout tool is one of the reasons I got the 3-album, is very frustranting not be able to use it. I add another doubt: I've tried to save a page layout and open the saved file with another program and it did not work either. Actually, when I click the saved file, all I see is an long list of errors!

What error message? Can you post it here? Is it a script error?

Also, what version of the 3D-Album do you hvae? You may try to upgrade to the latest verion 3.16.

Hi,

I just got 3-D Platinum and I'm having the exact same problem with printing. When I try to print from the Layout categories (simple layout, calendar, etc.), it goes to exactly 10% and then disappears. I've tried sending the print to each of my printers, and still no luck.

Would anyone have any suggestions? I have no problems printing from any other software.

Download and install the latest update (3.28). Be sure to download the larger of the two files (you can then download the smaller ones for future updates). There were several print related problems that various updates have addressed, so updating to the latest version is a good first step in fixing problems.

Be sure to close the 3D-Album program before executing the update.

I also just tried saving the file to print in another program (as Mr Oliveira attempted to do) and got a list of the following 23 script errors when I tried to open the file.

Script errors detected
Errors are recorded in C:\program files\visviva\vae\work\error.log
In file ??C\My pictures\test06.vobj. 23 errors

I'm using 3-D Picture Pro Platinum, and have the latest update installed.

Thank you to anyone who can offer suggestions!

Hi Bill,

Thank you for responding so quicky.

I just got the program for Christmas, and I downloaded the 3.28 update right away (the one marked for "Platinum" which was the larger file). My 3-D software was closed when I downloaded the update, I saved the update and then did the execute. I know I had the right printer selected as I attempted to print from both of my printers.

Any ideas???

I'm lucky, and I can print from the LAYOUT tab with no problems. So, I don't have any ideas other then print drivers, and updates - both of which you've already done. Sorry.

Unless someone jumps in with a solution, send an email to support@3d-album.com.

Please post any final fixes here for other users to see.
