I am disappointed to learn that the LE styles are not all available in the commercial suite. I downloaded a large number of styles from the website only to discover they will not install! Is this because of a technical issue in the different versions or merely a marketing issue?

I may be wrong but it is most likely a technical issue. The CS has incorporated much more control and variety into its styles. Thus some of the older styles that were made for the PE won't work in the CS. Rather than add to the confusion by trying to specify certain styles that would work in both versions, it was probably easier to simply make it so the PE styles would not install in the CS version.

CS should include all the PE styles. But not all styles in the CS are initially installed. You can use the Style Organizer (a button in the toolbar) to import the rest of the styles from the CD.
