Just downloaded new style for 3-d Album. Runs ok except won't play with music in background. All other styles work fine with music. HELP!

That is strange. I downloaded it and put 2 songs in the album I made and they both played fine. I wonder what the problem could be? Were you using .wav or .mp3?

I just noticed that I don't see any text or the voice buttons don't seem to do anything.

Maybe I should delete the file and reload. I downloaded to CD, so I still have the file handy.

By the way, I tried several folders containing MP3 files. Each folder had 10 plus files.

This presentation isn't working very well for me either:

- I do not get any music -- I am using a midi file that plays in every other presentation but not in this one.

- The pictures are VERY SLOOOOOOOOOW to appear -- and there's no speed control

- Sometimes I get pictures of the scenery, not my photos.

- I can see the "seam" lines of the background/scene.

- There is a check button to Show Text, but nowhere to specify text.

Well, misery loves company!! I get the same thing. I finally deleted the "style" from 3 PCs I had put it on. This was after downloading a fresh file a couple of times.
Did you get any options for the voice button? Nothing happens when I click on it either. I am surprised only you and I have complaints.
I thought maybe I had done something wrong.
Thanks for reply. Roger

I tried adding a wave file and it did work, but I too can see no place where the text button adds anything. And I can see the "seams" where it looks like pics were stitched together or something. I think this one should have been named winter_beta. Wink

Yeah, roger on the beta! I have been happy with the software up to now. Maybe a "techie" will provide some info when weekend is over and someone comes back to work. Until then, I won't download anymore presentations.
Enjoy your day and Happy New Year to all. Roger

Yes, there is a voice button but I didn't try anything with it yet (and probably won't until the rest of the issues are addressed). And I, too, downloaded it more than once.

It seems like only some people are having problems while it's working fine for other people. I wonder if this has something to do with our systems, video cards, etc. Everything else has worked fine, so I don't know why my hardware would suddenly reveal a "problem".

There was a very quick turn around between the time the suggestion for a snow scene was posted and the style was made available. I love to see such quick response and I guess I've expected new styles to be fully functional and usable. I suppose I could follow someone else's suggestion of waiting a few months before using new styles until any bugs are worked out but I'm so anxious to start using new styles and this one is so relevant to this time of year. The suggestion of calling new styles "beta" (for perhaps 30 days) would be a good caveat.

In my experience, the vendor has been quite responsive so I expect we'll see these issues addressed pretty quickly.

No, this is the first program like this I've ever even seen. I'm really excited about what can be done with this product. Have been using PE so far but got the CS upgrade and will install and start using it in the next week.

Hi, again. Yeah, I tried on 3 PCs with the same results. First time I've had a problem. Doesn't sound like it's the norm, but this one wasn't done well. The seams between scenes, non functioning buttons, no music, etc.,.......

We'll see. Have you tried any other products like DVD X Show or Maker by 321 Studios? If so, what do you think of them?

When you install and use the CS version, let me know what you think and the advantages are. I might consider upgrading also. Good luck and thanks again.

I have been using the PE and just installed CS -- you're right the aboutt the lack of music only in PE (I do get it in CS). However, other problems still exist in CS:

- The pictures are VERY SLOOOOOOOOOW to appear -- and there's no speed control.

- I can see the "seam" lines of the background/scene.

- There is a check button to Show Text and a button for Text Style and even a box with "Sample Text" in Organize, but nowhere to specify text.

Well today this "style" was worked on. I can not add MP3 files for music, however, the voice and text issues remain. Also, it still seems too slow and user doesn't have capability of adjusting speed. Better, but not where I would expect it to be. Other styles I've used worked perfectly or as advertised. This one still still leaves room for much improvement.

Thanks for the feedback on CS. I am going to continue to monitor this current (PE) product's performance for awhile. Happy New Year!!!
