I've just upgraded my PC to a dell dimension 9200. The graphics card is nvidia 512Mb nvidia geforce 7950 gx2 & dual core 2 processor. On my old system pentium 2ghz & radeon x1600 the software - 3dalbum platinum pro version 3.28 used to work flawlessly. On the new powerful system all the effects are stroppy & flickering in preview. When i select certain effect such as compose wedding & then select another effect 3d-album crashes.

I have checked opengl setting and they are set to 32 bit.

The software is currently unusable.
Pls advise what needs to be done to get it to work.

Thanks

When you installed your software to your new computer, did you perform the update to the latest (3.28) version)?

For the prblem of "stroppy & flickering", can you post an image of the screen capture?

I was having the same problem after purchase a new machine with a nVidia eGforce 7600 GT KO 256MB.
After having a worst day trying to work with this machine I upgraded to lasttest nVidia drivers and the problem was the same.
Then I tried older drivers until "84.21_forceware_winxp2k_english_whql.exe"
This drivers work fine for my card.
I hope this work for yours.

I am having the same problem with my NVidia 8800-series graphics card. I was thinking about stepping back down to the 7950 card, but after reading about your issues with it I am now leaning towards an ATI card.

I had a 7950 card for about 3 weeks, but never ran 3D-Album with it.

I am certain the problem is with 3D-Album, since I've not had any other 3D applications have the same issues. I hate to reduce my powerful system to something less than it could be all because I need 3D-Album to work. But, 3D-Album is critical to my video business.
