Product: 3D-Album Commercial Suite

My previous version of 3D-Album CS (3.0 "beta 1") runs rock solid.

Upgraded to 3.28 and it crashes with: "An unhandled run-time exception is detected in ScriptV scripts" every time when displaying an album in design. 3D-Album then terminates.

Un-installed the entire application. Reinstalled 3.0 "beta 1" and it runs fine. Ungraded to 3.28 again - crashes every time.

3D-Album is closed when I perform the upgrade. I used the "large" 42MB upgrade package.

Windows XP SP-2 / 1.5GB RAM / AMD 3400 / Radeon 9600 / DirectX 9.0c

I have seen at least 4 posts regarding this error - without any solution offered.

Hopefully, I have provided enough information here to receive an answer.

Many thanks!

It sounds like you're doing the right step for upgrading.

Try downloading another copy of the large update file again, just in case the copy you've been trying to use has a problem.

If that doesn't work, and if noone offers you another solution, then send an email direct to support@3d-album.com and tell them about your problem.

If you have purchased 3D-Album CS 3.0 beta, you should receive the CD for the formal release. The update may not work for the Beta version. You need to install the formally released version from the CD and then perform the update.

I never did receive the CD for the formal release. I communicated this to tech support yesterday. They kindly supplied me with a new serial number and asked me to install from the CD I have ("beta-1"), then upgrade to 3.28, which I did.

Can I download the initial formal release somewhere?

The error I am experiencing is immediate and repeatable - every time.

Thanks.
