Seems very hard to get information from users or even support about the viability of the Vista os and more importantly the use of Intel's new quad core processors.
I want to replace my computer, but wuold like to konw about these issues, i.e. must I stick with XP or is it ok to move to Vista- also, processor concerns as stated. JLL |

Emergency !!!! Dont know if here is the right place to post my message... But anyhow... I want to help others, but at the same time I need help as well.
After I build a Duo 2 Core system, you will have to right click on the 3D Picture Pro Icon; then go to properties; then go to compatibility.
In compatibility mode your have to put a check on the box "Run this program in compatibility mode for: Windows 98/ Windows Me.
Btw.. I am running Windows Xp Home/or Professional.
If you dont do that step, Lots of your styles/skins from 3D_Times wont work correctly. If you have any question. please email me at albert288@hotmail.com

I need help on capturing..... After I build, and then go to capture, It is saying that cannot find the VT_Script.exe.... Can someone help me solve this problem... ASAP.
P.S. I am running on a NVIDIA 8800 GT, does it even matter what video card Im running?? |

Thnaks for sharing your experience. I have a Duo 2 Core with XP Professional with NVIDIA 6800 GT and do not have the problem you mentioned. When the effect in a style does not work correctly, usually it is the problem of the video card driver - either it is not compatible with the current OS/CPU or the version of the driver itself has a problem. Downloading a working version of the driver will solve this problem.
I don't know what "VT_Script.exe" is. What is the exatct error message? |

Well... let me ask you do you have all the 3DT themes ? Cause if i dindt put the windows 98 compatible, all my 3dt-montage from 1 to 24 will freeze or sometimes will kick me out of 3d picture pro.
I think my problem could be fix if i upgrade to service pack 3.29, but seems i cant find it on the site. it sounds crazy, but i dont see it anywhere.
Here is my problem, after you build a template/or skin. I go to capture.
movie type= avi
source file = should be automatically detected from the LAST Build.
movie file= destination where i want it.....
on source file, it is saying that cannot find it.
"the specified file "folder\.....\ _start.vexe" is not found or it is not a ScriptV file."
Please verify the file name and start the application again. ---> Close
This is not my first time i capture, i have done 100's of capturing video as avi... But i dont know if is because of my new Duo 2 Core CPU has to due with this or is because my service pack is old 3.23 |

In order to see the 3.29 download file, you first have to register your product. You can do that by clicking on PROFILE and then selecting your version of the product and entering in your serial number (never post your serial number on the forum in a posting). Once you do that, you can then click on the "3D-Album Home" link at the the top of this page. Look for the update links in the large middle column towards the bottom of the page.
I suspect that Nan has all the Montage styles. Follow her advice. _________________ Bill

I havent look at this forum for quite some times. But if Im not mistaken, in order to have access to log-in, I should have registered my product. So, If im able to write stuff in the forum, isnt that means I am able to downloads the stuff from 3d-album/support page such as the updates?
Anyhow, through reading some other topics, I was able to download 3.29, from people or administrator posting the link. I installed 3.29 hence I am still having the problem..
So what I'm doing wrong? |

In the past, a person could register for the forum without registering their product. This allowed them to post messages and questions. This may or may not still be the case today.
To download new styles and/or to download updates requires a person to register their product. This is done by updating the PROIFLE info to include the product. To register Picture Pro would require you to provide your serial number in the Profile update dialog box.
If you had registered your copy of Picture Pro using this User ID, then your product would show up under your name on the left side of the posting (like mine and Nan's show Commercial Suite).
My understanding is that you cannot download the update wihtout doing this. If you were able to download a copy of 3.29 update, and if you applied it, then you should see 3.29 when you click on the little house icon (upper left corner) while your 3D-Album program is running.
If you are unable to register your product, then it is possible that you have an invalid serial number, one that might have been used before. Other people have bought pirated copies of the software at Saturday markets without knowing the product was pirated. If this is the case, send an email to support@3d-album.com and they will help you determine if you have a valid copy of the product. _________________ Bill

| I second to Bill. You may have a problem of your product key and you'll need to contact support at 3d-album.com. |
