I have to ask. Is there anyone on this forum who can confirm whether this company or 3D Time is still a functional business? There have been no new products, no updates to correct Vista compatibility, and no new styles. In addition the owners have not posted in a very long time. I really like this program and hope the company is still afloat. But if they are not does anyone know of another product that offers the type of styles this companies products do?

Good Question.

I have invested in this program and 3D Time and have now moved onto Vista to which there seems to be compatability problems.

3D Album is a good program so please carry on developing it.

Hi All,
Yes, We are still working hard to try to make the program better as usual. Regarding to new style, we are in talk with 3DTime. We do notice that they do not put out as many new styles as they used to do and hope we can get this issue result soon. Regarding to Vista problem, there has been posts and result about this issue in this Forum. Our version 3.29 is design to work with Vista. If you have any questions please check on this forum or email to our support team. Thank you for your patient and support.

Good news!

Hi,
Thank you for the info. We are still very much alive and working on our products. We will keeping our eyes on the Forum more from now on. We always answer our email and phone if customer have any questions. Regarding about new style, we are now working on them. 3DTime is slowly not making as many styles as they were and we are in contact with them to see what is going on still. Again, thanks for your support and we always appreciate your feed back.

Thank you for using 3D-Album

The above was in response to my email below sent to 3D-Album Support. The response came the same day.

I don't know if anyone there is paying any attention to the forum but there are growing signs of unease about your company and the prospects of recommending your products.

The question has been plainly asked, "Is 3D-Album (Micro Research) still in business and will there be any new products or upgrades?"

No one from your company has bothered to respond. This tends to imply that answer is or soon will be "NO". Your loyal users did not complain too loudly when you went back on your promise to release new styles and instead turned the creation of new styles over to 3DTime. But now even they are not offering much to support the hope of new styles being created.

I don't have a degree in Sales & Marketing so maybe you have a strategy for thinking that ignoring your customer base is somehow going to improve your position in the marketplace. But I think there is sufficient historical to show that kind of strategy seldom works. Therefore, I strongly urge and implore you to let your customers know if you intend to continue in business and if you intend to support them.

Excellent email. However, I think their answer is kind of vague but at least they responded.

Well.....I really didn't expect a long detailed answer. Especially considering the email and response were both done within a few hours on a weekend.

It was enough to keep me Very Happy
