The latest version has been posted on the 3D Time website. One of the caveats to the music part of the updates is that you have to update your styles before they can take advantage of the music editing features. However, if you only have purchased individual styles from the package rather then the whole package then you cannot get the necessary update. Instead you must purchase the whole package. I have no intention of having to turn around and buying each and every package that I have individual styles for as that becomes quite expensive. Nice update. Also, I tried to update some of the older styles by clicking the update button and I get the following message:

Firefox can't find the server at \\www.3dtime.com\product_info.php.

How do you update now a days even if it is limited? This update seems to be very restrictive in who gets to use it. I was allowed to buy single styles prior to this and there was never any mention of possible restrictions such as this.

I use Google's Chrome and have no problem to get the update link. Maybe it is just your Firefox thing. The complete url address has to be something like: http://www.3dtime.com/product_addition.php?products_id=56. The number at the end maybe different for each package. It looks like your Firefox has cut off the text after question mark.

3DTime has stopped offering individual styles in their new releases for a long time. You can still use the package update to update your individual styles, but you have to go to your 3D-Album installation folder to delete all styles you did not purchase.

Updatling styles are not required if you are not going to use the music editing feature. Personally, I do not think I will use it very often because I usually do the final touch in a video editor.

What is attractive to me is the feature of 3D Video Capturing, which does not require a style update. The 3.33 update also seems having fixed some problems I previously had with 3D-Album.

Thanks Nan, for your response. I am curious though. You seem to be interested in the 3D. Do you have a 3D camera, 3D Blu-Ray DVD player, and 3D HDTV? They are still in their infancy and not that many people have the equipment. How do you plan to utilize that feature?

Did you get the correct version? Where do you install your 3D-Album? What is your operating system?

If you know how to access your Windows' registry (click Windows Start menu, and type regedit to start), try to find in:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER
Software
Visviva
3D-Album-CS

Is there any entry on the right? You should see serial number and workdir, etc.

In one of the postings that is no longer available, Nan suggested installing 3D-Album in a non-system folder.

When I installed 3D-Album on my Win7 machine, I created a folder named "3DAlbum" and installed the program there. Once I did that I had no problems applying updates and new styles. Visit my web site to read about my experience http://www.northwestpages.com/3dalbum_tutorial/Tutorial8.html
(check out bottom of the page).

You might try removing 3D-Album and then reinstalling it to a new folder like I did. See Dhoward's earler comments in this thread about installing to your C: drive.

Where is actually your 3D-Album was installed? Is it in Program Files or Program Files (x86)? Did you installed with regualar administrator account and then tryied to update in a true administrator account? Windows 7 is very confusing sometimes with shadow copies in different versions of the same file and load different copies on different accounts.

Try to install 3D-Album in a regualr user folder with true adiminstrator account. This way, you can access/write 3D-Album folder in any account without being messed up by Windows shadow copy in system folder.
