Please goto nero web site, download the lastest service pack. When we test nero ultra edition, we got the same problem. After installed the service pack, all problem gone. By the way, you should use the ultra version of nero 6 which include the nero vision express 2(do the DVD authoring job), not a basic one.

I would like to give you some assurance that DVD burning is typically not a problem. If the problem is indeed caused by your DVD hardware/software, and not your 3D Album settings or style choices, then it possibly could be solved by reviewing the following:

Nero, with the latest patches, will burn a DVD just fine. As will Easy CD Creator, Ulead Movie Factory, Sonic MYDVD, and a host of others. Most of the time, these DVD authoring programs work right out of the box. But, you must check for updates on their respective websites, or you may encounter a conflict. One doesn't have to be a pro to burn DVD.

Examine your system requirements carefully before buying or installing a specific package. Every CD/DVD combo burner on the market, comes with some authoring software that has been matched to this hardware. 99% of the time, this software is the "Basic" version. Problems may sometimes occur when an upgrade, or different package is purchased. In this case, be sure to examine whether your DVD hardware burns @ 2.4 X or, 4 X. Often times, you may need a firmware upgrade if your software requires 4 X and you have a 2.4 X drive.

This applies to your DVD media as well. Make sure you don't use 4 X media in a burner designed for 2.4 X only. Do a google search by typing in your brand and model. You may find information and instructions for a firmware upgrade, if there is one.

Finally, your brand media choice can sometimes cause problems as well. I've found that sticking to the quality brand names, instead of the no-names or lesser names, can make a difference bewteen having a DVD production or a coaster. Use a DVD R/W disk to burn the first time around. This will tell you whether you have made a successful burn or not, without wasting a DVD.

There can be several other issues as well, but I've found solving these usually results in success.
