1. Preparation

Before using Roxio Easy CD Creator, you need to have your DVD MPEG files ready from the 3D-Album. See Bill Smith's tutorial:

http://www.3d-album.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=549

for this. One important note: when converting the DVD mpeg file using the 3D-Album video capture utility, make sure that the "Use High Quality Encoder for DVD file" is checked. To do this, click the "Options" button, and in the pop up dialogue, make sure the second option item in the "Performace vs. Quality" is checked. Another good tip is: enable the full screen anialiasing in your video card. For detail, see,

http://www.3d-album.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=3574#3574

2. Open Roxio DVD Buider application from the EZ Creator's application.

3. Opening Splash. If you do not want Roxio's opening splash, delete the RoxioIntro.mpg at the top left of the right panel, by right clicking on it and then choose the "delete" menu. You will see an empty box in the top row. Optionaly, you can add your own opening splash. To do it, find a mpeg video file from your Window's File Browser, and drag the file and drop it into the empty video box in the top row of the DVD Buider's right panel. A dialogue may pop up to ask you to select the quality of the final render, choose the "DVD" quality, and click "Add anyway" button.

4. Change Menu Themes. At the bottom of the right panel, click the "Change Menu Themes" button, and select a menu theme in the slot by double clicking on the thumbnail. Click the "Change Menu Themes" button ahain to close the menu theme slot.

5. Add your movie. Again, in your Windows File Explorer, find your video files created by the 3D-Album. Drag the file and drop it into the first empty box in the Menu A slot. You can add more video files into the Menu A slot using the similar way. But if you want to create a sencond menu, drag the secon video file into the empty box in the Menu B slot. The same way, you can add more videos in different menu slots. You can add up to six menus.

6. Change Title/Menu text. Click any text in the left panel. A dialogue will pop up. Edit the title or the menu text in the dialogue. Click "Okay" to close.

7. Burn. CLick the Roxio icon to start to burn (make sure that your empty DVD disc is in the drive.) Make sure the destination drive is correct, and the output type is DVD. Click the "Okay" button to start.

i appreciate everyone's help; i have spent about 8 hours, following all of your step by step instructions. have gotten to the point of putting my movie (that i created with the photoshop pro)into the DVD creator. my own customized splash screen works great. but, i used the patriotic theme, and my movie is NOT coming out that way. all i get are all the subtitles, it uploads all my still photos and my music, but none of the presentation style. i am about to cry here...i am SO close, after a year of working on this, and yet so far. why can't i just drag my movie that i made, and put it on there???? why do things have to be so danged difficult????
