3D-Album (for Windows), from Micro Research II (www. 3d-album.com), is very possibly the wildest and most awe-inspiring image-centric software I have ever seen. And among photo software packages it definitely ranks as the most fun,
3D-Album DVD Suite 2.03 kicked the utility level up a notch, letting you convert albums into DVD-, VCD-, and SVCD-ready files. Now the Commercial Suite takes 3D-Album into an entirely new dimension...

Find Brass Frames Too Boring? Try a Razzle-Dazzle Exhibition. ...
Despite the elaborate animations and scenes involved, it takes just a few steps
to set up a 3-D photo album. You just select the folder of pictures you want to
use and the type of animated scene (called a presentation style) in which to
display them...

...That (3D-Album) delivered in a few seconds a rotating 3-D cube of nicely
rendered and sized photos in an animated presentation that made it look as
though it had taken hours. The selling point here is the ability to showcase
photos in a very slick and artsy manner with very little effort on your
part....

use. Just open the program, point to your photos, choose a presentation style
and click build! Done!...

There are many inexpensive album-making programs available for Microsoft Windows
computers, but the hands-down winner for ease of use, flexibility, and flair is
3D-Album... The program is so well designed that if you’ve ever used a mouse
you already know how to use it.

Slide shows don't have to be boring. "3D-Album" to the rescue. This
software package takes my digital images and organizes them into a stand-alone
slide show. I just e-mail the file to my friend. He clicks on the file, and the
show is on... The slide shows created by this program are not your ordinary
one-picture-after-another presentations. But just because the shows are
extraordinary doesn't mean that you need to be a graphics wizard to create
dazzling presentations...

3-D Album a great way to store photos. When you start the program, it
seems too rudimentary to bother with. Don't be fooled. This is a great program
that produces a really entertaining result. And it doesn't hurt that it's all
point-and-click, so simple that computer-comfortable children could organize
their own photos into albums...

having them run for the doors.

3D-Album - Fabulous 3D Photo Effects. Digital photos are great, but

your photos into visually arresting 3D images...

Speaking of enhancement, if you like a little razzle-dazzle with your photo
presentations, try 3D-Album, version 2.0, from Micro Research Institute...All
this motion was a bit dizzying for me, but there's no denying the software
allows for eye-catching presentations. You can also use 3D-Album to create
virtual photo albums, and create screensavers for your PC with your own
pictures...

June 25, 2002 Review by Bob
Schwabach, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel
Flip Album and 3D-Album are two new programs for the display and organization of
digital photos. With 3D-Album you can create slide shows with musical
backgrounds. The effects are great...This is a very nice program and really
easy: drag and drop photos into any order you want, pick the time delay for the
rotating cubes or whatever you use, and add music. Done. .. FlipAlbum comes in
two versions, regular and professional... I worked with the professional
version here, which was easy to use and produced charming display effects, but
I was left the feeling of "why bother?" You can do much the same things with
3D-Album, which is $110 cheaper and supports eight major European and Asian
languages.
